A new year is quickly approaching and we at Trailblazin Ministries are on our grind making sure that everything is at tip-top shape. 2008 was a very fruitful year, individually and corporately. God opened many doors and afforded us many opportunities, such as allowing us to partner with Flame (of Cross Movement Records) for his devotional contest. We're thankful to the Lord for such opportunities, and especially for allowing us to complete both the James devotion series and the "Read.Pray.Worship.Live." Bible study series this year.
So, what's on the plate for 2009? As always, our primary focus is teaching the Word of God and making sure that our visitors get fed with biblical truth. With that in mind, we have decided to expand our teaching ministry. In addition to my upcoming series on 1 Thessalonians and a series of studies on spiritual gifts, we will be offering some new items in order to add some variety. First up will be a character study going through the life of Joseph, as George Sly walks us through Genesis and all that happened in this faithful man's life. In addition to this character study, we will be bringing back our hip-hop devotions, which are devotions based on holy hip-hop songs. Garrett Richie will primarily head up this section. To give you a bit of a preview (or a refresher), I've uploaded three that I wrote back in 2007; you can find them under the Devotion Series link. Also as a bonus, we've added the MP3 player, which contains a playlist of all of the songs we use in our hip-hop devotions; this is @ the top of every page & will open a pop-up.
Other than that, look forward to more podcasts, album reviews, and articles. It's our prayer that 2008 has been fruitful for you and that this site has played a small part in your spiritual growth this year. We look forward to continuing to walk with you in 2009, if the Lord tarries that long. So, until then, keep repping the King of kings!
