A few months ago, Dr. John MacArthur and Grace to You opened up their extensive sermon archive so that people could freely download sermon MP3s. This was a tremendous move as it allowed people all over the world to have access to in-depth Bible teaching at no cost.

Well, now there is another Bible teacher who is moving his ministry in the same direction and is choosing to open up his sermon archive. Alistair Begg and Truth for Life have announced that they are opening up Alistair Begg's sermon archive and allowing them to be freely downloaded.

For the past 14 years, our ministry has taken place primarily through daily and weekend radio programs that air on over 1,200 radio outlets. Through the radio broadcasts, millions of people have heard the truth of God’s Word preached and have seen their lives changed.

We now have an exciting opportunity to pursue a new avenue of ministry as an organization. While our commitment to radio as a vehicle to spread God’s Word remains unchanged, we have seen an entire audience interacting with us solely online -- through our e-mails, online broadcasts, podcasts, and downloadable resources. We believe that our current online audience represents only a small portion of the people using the Internet today who would benefit from the teaching we produce, yet who are unlikely to listen to Truth For Life on the radio.
