as you read in my blog (if you read it)... i stood in the gap this past Sunday in the absence of one of our teachers @ church...

as a result of that, and some health concerns from the teacher who i filled in for, my pastor has asked me to take his place for the remainder of this month (and possibly next month if i can get my material together)... and as a result, i'm now a part of our church's Sunday night rotation, which is basically where the ministers/teachers in the church take a 2-3 month block and teach @ the 6pm service

this was something i had expected to happen within the next year or two, but apparently the Lord had other plans... it's def a humbling experience... so i'm asking for prayer in regard to increased proficiency in my study time and the strength to continue to faithfully teach His Word...

fyi, just in case you're curious, i'll be teaching part 2 of the Read.Pray.Worship.Live. series, which is on prayer (and will do worship in Sept. if i can get it done)
