This online ministry was founded in 1999 under the name of Jesus4Life Ministries by LaRosa Johnson. After being convicted by the Lord to alter his approach to ministering on the web, the ministry changed its name from Jesus4Life Ministries to its current name of Trailblazin Ministries in December 2005. The primary goal of this ministry is to teach the full counsel of God's Word by teaching the Bible line upon line & precept upon precept.

This emphasis is carried out through the use of devotions and Bible studies by teaching isagogically, categorically, and exegetically. Teaching isagogically means that we consider the historical, geographical, economic, political, & cultural elements of the time period in which the Scriptures were written. Teaching categorically means that we develop particular topics, or doctrines of Scripture, according to the entire revealed Word of God. We correlate each individual doctrine to other doctrines in Scripture, and to the overall revelation of God's Word. Finally, teaching exegetically means that we teach verse-by-verse from the original Hebrew and Greek texts. An accurate interpretation of God's Word must include an accurate understanding of the original meaning of the original words to the original audience of each particular passage of Scripture.

Although our ministry is meant to reach all, there are areas where we focus particularly on the urban and hip-hop demographic in order to reach our sphere of influence & cultural background. In doing this, it is our objective to show how elements of the culture can be redeemed and then used as a tool to bring glory to Jesus Christ. It is part of our agenda to show that an individual can still be a part of a culture while remaining a God-fearing Christian who is striving to walk according to Scripture.

In all, our objective is to teach the Word of God, which we pray will in turn allow God to work in and through each of us according to His good pleasure. In other words, we hope that this ministry helps to raise up God-fearing disciples who are able to understand His truth.
